Dr. Dawn Skees (DMD) is a graduate from Morehead State University with a Bachelor of Science (concentration in Biology and Chemistry). She then furthered her education and received her doctorate at the University of Louisville Dental School. She has a true passion for dentistry and it is evident every single day. She is passionate about patient care and believes every person should be treated like family. With her own practice, which she started in 2011, she was able to fulfill this dream of a relaxed and fun dental experience.
She belongs to the American Dental Association, Indiana Dental Association, and American Academy of Facial Esthetics. She offers dental services for ALL ages and ALL smiles. She practices family and cosmetic dentistry and this includes a multitude of services. She continually expands her repertoire with new and advancing procedures and technology, and full mouth reconstruction and giving someone their smile back is her area of expertise.
She spends her time off with her amazing husband, Michael and her three little girls. They enjoy the simple everyday pleasures of gameboards, coloring together and just enjoying making memories. They love the outdoors and both Dr. Skees and her husband are passionate about health and fitness. Dr. Skees enjoys every minute of her day, both at the office and at home.
