Transform Your Smile with Dental Implants
Imagine having replacement teeth that look, feel, and function just like natural teeth. With dental implants, you can regain the ability to eat virtually anything and smile confidently, knowing your teeth appear natural and your facial contours are preserved.
Dental implants are tiny titanium posts placed into the jawbone where teeth are missing. The bone bonds with the titanium, creating a strong foundation for artificial teeth. Additionally, dental implants help preserve facial structure, preventing the bone deterioration that occurs when teeth are missing.
Dental implants are revolutionizing lives! With them, people are rediscovering the comfort and confidence to eat, speak, laugh, and enjoy life.

The Dental Implant Procedure
Dental implants act as tooth root substitutes. They are surgically placed into the jawbone, with small posts attached that protrude through the gums to provide stable anchors for artificial teeth.
The entire process usually takes six to eight months, with most patients experiencing minimal disruption to their daily lives.
The procedure typically involves two stages:
Initial Placement
- Implants are surgically placed within the jawbone.
- For the first three to six months, the implants bond with the jawbone beneath the gums.
- During this time, you can wear temporary dentures and maintain a soft diet.
- Your restorative dentist designs the final bridgework or denture to improve both function and aesthetics.
Final Placement
- Once the implants have bonded to the jawbone, the surgeon uncovers them and attaches small healing collars.
- Dr. Skees will then take impressions and connect posts or attachments to the implants.
- The replacement teeth are crafted and placed over these posts or attachments.
